URGENT REPAIR WORKS to the WASTEWATER COLLECTION SYSTEM at FREDERICK SETTLEMENT INDUSTRIAL PARK
Further to communication issued on 25t January 2019 we wish to advise that the wastewater collection system on the Frederick Settlement Business Park has experienced infrastructural malfunctions in recent times due to the deterioration of the existing sewer lines. As a result, the Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) would be embarking on urgent repair works to the system.
The Wastewater Department of WASA is proposing to replace forty-two (42) meters of the collapsed sewer mains in the vicinity of Oasis One Brands Limited (Water One) and Gopaul & Company Limited. Noting the urgent nature of the repairs WASA aims to conduct these works before the start of the Rainy Season and as such the works are scheduled to commence by 10th May 2019 and is expected to be completed within fifteen (15) days.
In this regard, we acknowledge that the users of the Park would be impacted; however, replacement of the collapsed sewer line is urgent at this time. We do apologize for any inconvenience caused.
