A review of tenant operations on e TecK\u2019s\u00a0Legacy Parks (existing parks)\u00a0is currently underway by the company\u2019s\u00a0Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE)\u00a0Unit. \u00a0This review is coupled with the identification of potential conflicts in uses amongst tenancies, which may result in the contravention of statutory standards with respect to\u00a0HSSE. An example of such contravention may be a food and beverage\u00a0business in close proximity to a chemical processing facility.<\/p>\n
In light of the above, e TecK\u2019s Assets Department developed a Land Use Plan for\u00a0Biljah Business Park as a pilot project. This project was undertaken to identify clearly the land use for each tenant parcel in order to assess any potential conflicts between these parcels and enable e TecK\u2019s Real Estate Assets Division to mitigate same.<\/p>\n
This pilot project was carried out in conjunction with the Land Management Unit of the Ministry of Agriculture, Lands and Fisheries which included the following:<\/p>\n
