In the last several months, the Corporate Communications Department has pursued membership for e TecK in two influential and strategic business organisations: The Trinidad & Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce, and the South Trinidad Chamber of Industry and Commerce, and we recently were accepted as members to both Membership in the Chambers affords e TecK the following:
- Direct access to frequent top quality educational and networking resources through breakfast meetings, seminars, panel discussions and other activities that bring the members together
- Potential for exposure of our messages to the Chambers’ memberships, which comprise some of the most powerful and influential companies in the country
- Opportunities for our company to be represented on Chamber standing committees that are working to effect positive change in the member companies, as well as in the country
Opportunities for direct promotion of the e TecK brand to a targeted audience through sponsorship of activities and events
According to their website, The Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce lobbies “on behalf of our members’ interests and have made a profound impact on the conduct of business and the development of the national economy.” Their website also states that “with 14 vibrant, influential and active committees, we are poised to meet the needs of our estimated 500 members and approximately 1,300 representatives spanning the services, import, export, manufacturing and distribution sectors.”
While The South Chamber primarily represents energy companies that operate primarily in the South.
