In an effort to satisfy one of the Facilities and Maintenance Unit’s mandates- to maintain the infrastructural networks throughout 21 Light Industrial Parks and Hotel assets- several works such as road, pump, roof, plumbing, and cooling tower repairs were conducted at seven of Industrial Parks recently.
The FMU also conducted drain wall reconstruction at O’Meara, completed the installation of a gate and repairs to guttering at Frederick Settlement, and repaired the structure of the treatment plant of Plaisance Park. This is in addition to several maintenance works at the Tamana Intech Park.
The Facilities Maintenance Unit (FMU) falls under the purview of the Projects and Facilities Division. The Unit is responsible for the maintenance of all industrial parks and building assets throughout Trinidad and Tobago.
