On Sunday 4th June, 2023, e TecK’s Chairman Mr. Imtiaz Ahamad, Mr. Steve De Las, President, and Mr. Daniel Duncan, Vice President of Projects and Facilities were joined by Senior Executives of Beijing Construction Engineering Group (BCEG) on site of the Phoenix Park Industrial Estate (PPIE) upon their return to Trinidad and Tobago.
The BCEG team led by Mr. Ma Shulong, Caribbean Regional Manager, Mr. Li Liang and Mr. Xing Yiqiao, got the opportunity to witness first-hand the progress of the construction of the PPIE.
Financing of the Phoenix Park Industrial Estate Project is sourced through a concessional loan provided through the Export-Import (EXIM) Bank of the People’s Republic of China on terms and conditions negotiated by the Ministry of Finance of GORTT and approved by the Cabinet of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.
To date, construction of the PPIE is 96% complete.
