Chinese Delegation visits SM Jaleel at e TecK’s Phoenix Park Industrial Estate

e TecK was proud to welcome a delegation from China led by Mr. Wu Weihua, Vice Chairman of China’s National People’s Congress (NPC) Standing Committee to a site visit to the Phoenix Park Industrial Estate (PPIE) on November 10th, 2024. The PPIE is the flagship project under the “Belt and Road Initiative” cooperation between T&T and China, a global strategy for connectivity and bilateral trade,
conceptualised by the government of the People’s Republic of China and actualised in collaboration with some 150 countries across the globe.

The delegation was treated to a presentation by SM Jaleel in the factory shell that they have tenanted at the Park which will be utilised for manufacturing and warehouse operations.

Present were Mrs. Ava Mahabir-Dass, Deputy Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Trade and Industry, Mr. Steve De Las, President of e TecK, Mr. Daniel Duncan, Vice President of Projects and Facilities of e TecK, as well as other trade stakeholders.
