Evolving TecKnologies and Enterprise Development Company Limited (e TecK) wishes to advise our tenants and visitors that the company we will be upgrading the fire hydrant systems at the following Industrial Parks:
- Abattoir Industrial Park
- Biljah Industrial Park
- Chase Village Industrial Park
- Debe Industrial Park
- Diamond Vale Industrial Park
- East Dry River Industrial Park
- Frederick Settlement Industrial Park
- Harmony Hall Industrial Park
- Morvant Industrial Park
- O’Meara Industrial Park
- Point Lisas Industrial Park
- Point Fortin Industrial Park
- Sea Lots Industrial Park
This initiative aims to provide a more reliable firefighting system to protect persons and property. This upgrade will entail the following as per recommendations by the Trinidad and Tobago Fire Service (TTFS):
- servicing existing functioning hydrants
- replacing the non-functioning hydrants, and
- installing additional hydrants in strategic locations
Upgrade works cpmmenced on September 01, 2021. The duration of these works vary but is not expected to exceed four (4) months. The project is being coordinated with the Trinidad and Tobago Fire Services, The Water and Sewerage Authority, Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission, The National Gas Company (NGC) and the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service, where applicable. e TecK plans to execute this project with minimal disruption to tenants’ operations, however, we acknowledge with regret, that inconvenience is inevitable when conducting works of this nature. In this regard, there will be intermittent disruptions to the water supply. As such, we encourage tenants to use their water storage systems (if available) and to monitor their water storage volume periodically.
We are kindly requesting that employees, contractors and customers avoid parking in the vicinity of any fire hydrant. This will allow unencumbered access to the hydrants and allow the works to progress as planned, thus minimizing impact to your operations.
