e TecK participates in Tourism Forum in Tobago

e TecK’s President (Ag.) Mr. Daniel Duncan and Mr. David Cockburn, Assistant Vice-President, Special Projects and Hotel Assets met with Ms. Michelle Ann Thomas-Permanent Secretary (Ag.) in the Ministry of Trade, Investment and Tourism; Mr. Farley Augustine-Chief Secretary of the Tobago House of Assembly (THA); Ms. Tashia Burris- Secretary of Tourism, Culture, Antiquities and Transportation in the THA, and Mr. Reginald Maclean-President of the Tobago Hotel and Tourism Association (THTA), and other stakeholders at the inaugural Tourism Forum hosted by the THTA themed “Tourism: the Fuel of the Future” on July 24th, 2025 at the Magdalena Grand Beach and Golf Resort, Tobago. The forum brought together stakeholders to discuss recommendations to make Tobago more competitive in the sector regionally and internationally.

As a core agent for change in the economic diversification drive of Trinidad and Tobago, e TecK stands ready to play its role in building the tourism sector, through its mandate of the management of hotel assets, namely the Hilton Trinidad and Conference Centre and the Magdalena Grand Beach and Golf Resort (MGBGR). Under the purview of its line Ministry the Ministry of Trade, Investment and Tourism, e TecK is poised to assist Tobago’s tourism sector in leading the way to capitalize on its competitive advantages.
