Commercial Officers appointed by the Ministry of Trade and Industry tour e TecK parks

Commercial Officers who were recently appointed by the Ministry of Trade and Industry to represent Trinidad and Tobago in the international trade and investment arena, toured e TecK’s Tamana InTech Park and Phoenix Park Industrial Estate (PPIE) on Wednesday 26th July, 2023.

Ms. Crystal Lin, Project Coordinator at e TecK, led the tour at PPIE for the Commercial Officers Vincent Ramlochan (far left), who will be based in Panama; Adanna Taylor (second from left) in the United Kingdom with responsibility for Europe, and Darryl Smith (right) in the United States of America with responsibility also for Canada.

The Commercial Attachés Melissa Arnaud-Taylor and Jeniece Scoon who will be based in Guyana and Jamaica respectively, were absent from the PPIE tour but were present at the Tamana InTech Park tour led by Property Officer Thandiwe Muller-Mends.

The main responsibilities of the newly-appointed personnel will be to develop overseas markets and boost exports to key strategic trading partners, while promoting trade in goods and services, seeking to attract new investment opportunities to Trinidad & Tobago.

The park tours was thus an opportunity for these officers to witness first-hand the economic and trade opportunities at two of e TecK’s 21 business parks.

e TecK wishes them the very best in their new portfolios!
