On Friday 30th August, 2024 e TecK’s staff gathered outside its head office at the Tamana InTech Park to crown a curry duck champion, in its inaugural employee curry duck competition. The four teams competed on taste, presentation, and participation and battled to see who could out duck the other, with team 90’s being adjudicated the overall winner by the panel. The event was an overall success, fostering greater camaraderie, helping to boost employee morale, and creating a spirit of collaboration, fun and engagement, all while determining who had the sweetest curry hand in e TecK. The event was also a nod to Trinidad and Tobago’s Independence Day which would be celebrated the following day, as team members waved their national flags and paid tribute to one of the country’s most loved culinary dishes.
