On Friday 10th May, 2019, e TecK’s line Minister, Senator the Honourable Paula Gopee-Scoon, Minister of Trade and Industry and a delegation from the Ministry of Trade and Industry toured e TecK’s Moruga Agro-Processing Park which is currently under construction. e TecK’s representatives, Mr. Steve De Las- President, Mr. Daniel Duncan – Vice-President, Projects and Facilities and Mr. Ian Fletcher – Vice-President. Real Estate Assets were all present to facilitate the tour and provided the Minister with status updates on the construction and proposed tenancy of the park.
After commissioning of the completed facility, later this year, the 18.83 acres park will consists of eleven (11) developed land lots of sizes ranging from 0.5 to 2.5 acres. Of these eleven 11 land lots, the first five (5) lots will include five (5) factory shells respectively while the remaining six 6 land lots will be developed land sites. All will be available for lease to potential tenants/investors in the sectors of agriculture and fisheries in the Agro-processing industry.
